We are thrilled to announce that as of January 1, 2026, Pepijn will officially step into the role of Operations Manager at UPM Kunststoffen.
Pepijn’s journey with us is proof of his dedication and talent that he has shown the last couple of years. Starting as a Technical Business Administration intern in 2022, he quickly transitioned into a Process Technologist role, eventually becoming the Assistant Operations Manager.
In his new role, Pepijn will oversee our entire operational landscape, including:
👉🏼 Operational excellence: Driving Lean and Kaizen process optimisations.
👉🏼 Team leadership: Managing production, recruitment, and workplace safety.
👉🏼 Quality & sustainability: Ensuring ISO compliance and advancing our green energy initiatives.
👉🏼 Strategic growth: Advising on automation and future-proofing our production capacity.
This transition has been seamlessly guided by Hans Rietveld. As part of our commitment to continuity and philosophy of passing knowledge to the next generation, Hans will continue to mentor Pepijn to ensure the highest standards of quality for our clients.
